HWPL & 918 WARP Summit, Resolution of Peace!
Greetings
to you all! :) It’s been a long time since I last wrote for my precious
visitors.
This
is my first meeting with you after a long period of silence, so I wanted to
introduce HWPL and the 918 WARP Summit for you guys again.
(I
understand some visitors already know much about HWPL and maybe the 918
WARP Summit, but please kindly bear with me as there are, on the other
hand, some people who don't know:D)
Then,
what is HWPL?
-
Its full name is 'Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light' and it
is a registered NGO (Non-Government Organization) of Seoul and Ministry of
Foreign Affairs of The Republic of Korea. HWPL is also a registered NGO of The Department
of Public Information of the United Nations
What
is the purpose of HWPL?
-
The cessation of war and declaration of peace. To pass peace down to future
generations
Wow!
To make this wonderful thing a reality, what are their initiatives?

| 1. The enactment of International Peace Law (I will explain about DPCW later) |
 |
| 2. WARP Office for Alliance of Religions |
 |
| 3. Peace Education for Students (Elementary School to University) |
These
are the 3 main initiatives of HWPL listed above. I will tell you more details
of each, but let's focus on HWPL and the 918 WARP Summit for today:)
As
with every great period of history, HWPL has also achieved its own milestone.
That was 918 WARP Summit on the 18th of September 2014.
From
the above pictures, more than 2000 politicians, legal professionals, religious
leaders, leaders of women & youth groups and 200,000 HWPL members from 170
countries participated in the 918 WARP Summit in 2014.
All politicians, legal professionals, religious leaders, women & young leaders signed the peace MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) to support the 'Enactment of DPCW' and 'Alliance of Religions'. What happened after this successful event?

HWPL declared the DPCW (Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War) in 2016: 10
articles and 38 clauses
-
PALACEN (Parlamento Centroamericano, Parliament of Central America) adopted the
DPCW in July 2017
-
Today in 2018, the global National Declaration process is well underway to being
introduced to the UN General Assembly. 2 countries have already declared the DPCW
as their national declaration.
Believe me, I can talk all night about HWPL's work and the 10 articles and 38 clauses of the DPCW, but...I think I will save them for later posts XD
