[HWPL] HWPL and Chairman Lee Lead Peacebuilding Cultural Exchange with Philippine Social Representatives
Greetings, Family of Peace! :)
Today I bring you news articles about a great peace festival called "We are one for Peace to attain Sustainable Development" that will be held by Mr. Man Hee Lee, Chairman of HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light), Dr. Ronald Adamat of Volunteer Individuals for Peace (VIP) and CHED's Commissioner in The Philippines. The festival will signal the start of a national peace campaign across the country's state universities and colleges.
Mr. Ian Seo, General Director of the Department of Public Relations of HWPL said "The highlight of this peace event is inspiring people to jointly participate in peace building by cultural performances that imply significance of harmony under the world peace beyond differences in ethnicity, religion or nationality. DPCW (Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War) which is the principle of peace building with participation of citizens and national support will be presented."

The article explained about the importance of HWPL's DPCW for peace building. The DPCW consists of 10 articles and 38 clauses that resolve the world's conflicts and wars through global effort for peace-building including the prohibition of the use of military force, peaceful conflict resolution and spreading a culture of peace through educational and civic campaigns.
Moreover, the City Government of Paranaque signed a partnership with HWPL to promote a culture of peace and to build peace. Paranaque City Public Library will hold an inauguration ceremony of the "PEACE ROOM" where daily visitors will be inspired by peace education materials. Organizers of this project commented "Other libraries in the country will also build peace corner and peace room to raise awareness of peace building to citizens."

In January 2018, CHED (Commissioner of Commission on Higher Education) and HWPL signed an MOU agreeing to spread peace education across public universities and colleges in The Philippines. Now HWPL's peace education curriculum is being used by all Higher Education Institutions in the country.

Dr. Adamat said that he looks forward to the promotion of peace education with the CHED which will positively influence many Philippine educational institutions and substantially promote peace in the Philippines.
When Chairman Man Hee Lee of HWPL last visited the Philippines, he stressed that :
"We should think about how we can achieve peace. It should start by teaching peace to the youth"
Mr. Man Hee Lee of HWPL, who is a Korean peace activist, will visit the Philippines in February to encourage international cooperation for peace building.

Writer's Comment : Wow! With this pace of movement for peace, I think that the Philippines will become the first most peaceful country in the world, won't t? I'm so glad that everyone in The Philippines can receive peace education in their universities and colleges. The Republic of Korea must learn from The Philippine's movement to achieve a peaceful reunification of the Korean peninsula, I insist on this :)
