[Peace News] Mali Parliament in West Africa Unites for Peace Under DPCW (Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War)
On December 21st 2019, parliamentarians in Mali, West Africa, gathered to hold 'Network of Parliamentarians for the Culture of Peace and the Cessation of Wars' to discuss the spreading of a culture of peace and the ridding of civil wars and terrorist activity that has caused cruel casualties in Mali.
That day, the DPCW (Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War) was introduced by Aurora Celestin, a representative of HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light; Chairman Man Hee Lee). The DPCW consists of 10 articles and 38 clauses that was drafted by HWPL's International Law Peace Committee which contains articles for the cessation of wars, ban on the production of arms, hostile actions, global violence and promotes a culture of peace and peace education for sustainable world peace.

All participants, including 25 congressmen and 4 national executive officials, agreed on and stressed the importance and necessity of the DPCW for Mali after Aurora Celestin's speech regarding HWPL and the DPCW.
Diarra Moussa, Presider and Member of Parliament, said, "Many are working for peace in Mali and there are many laws. However, implementation of the law had always been the problem. Therefore, there needs to be a solution like the DPCW to spread the culture of peace where people start to abide by the laws."
After the discussion, they finished the event signing a letter in support of the DPCW. It is highly expected that the Network of Parliamentarians for the Culture of Peace and the Cessation of Wars will actively commit themselves to peace in Mali and West Africa with HWPL :)
