[Peace News] Hong Kong Children Learn the Value of Peace through Peace Puppetry
St. Barnabas Society and Home hosted the Peace Puppetry Workshop on October 20th in Hong Kong which is going through intense conflict and human rights issues. 29 participants included children, the founder of Kolamundo and a graduate of The University of Hong Kong as a project volunteer.
The children of Hong Kong learned about peace, love, understanding and humility through puppetry instead of theory-based studies. Children said that they learned ways of understanding and loving each other through messages of peace and humility conveyed in the story.
Likewise, children learned about peace and tolerance through Peace Puppetry and HWPL has been teaching peace, understanding, tolerance and respect in many countries. It is highly expected that children who had the workshop on that day will become people who will keep world peace.
