[HWPL] HWPL Hosted the 8th Annual Commemoration of the Declaration of World Peace!

HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light, Chairman Man-Hee Lee) hosted their 8th Annual Commemoration of the Declaration of World Peace online on May 25th 2021 with around 3,000 people from 150 countries in attendance.

The event is hosted annually by HWPL with its affiliated groups including IPYG (International Peace Youth Group), IWPG (International Women's Peace Group) and more.

Participating organizations and attendees talked about citizen-led peace activities, collaboration for achievement of world peace and resolutions to global challenges in this current pandemic era.

The Declaration of World Peace was proclaimed on May 25th in 2013. It addresses joint peace work among countries to establish international law for peace, the role of the media for world peace and vigorous peace movements among youth and women, who are often the main victims of war.

Many VIPs and world leaders who have been cooperating with HWPL and Chairman Man-Hee Lee gave remarkable speeches at the event highlighting the importance of guiding and teaching people to achieve world peace.

HWPL's Chairman Man-Hee Lee stated: "It is us today who must do everything necessary to make peace and prevent our world from being destroyed. War does not simply end with words, but with practical steps. I believe that this can be achieved since no one in our global village is not willing to see peace."
