[HWPL] HWPL Peace Education for Kids!

HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light; Chairman Man-Hee Lee) has been operating many peace initiatives in many countries with numerous affiliated groups. including peace education for kids that teaches them non-violent resolutions to conflict for a more peaceful world.

Ms. Elisabeta Agocs, Co-founder of RotaKids Alba lulia, Romania, acknowledged the advantages of HWPL's Peace Education program and adopted it for members wiithin her organization. RotaKids is a youth group that promotes the development of children's abilities and involvement within the community.

IPYG (International Peace Youth Group), an affiliate youth group of HWPL, introduced their U-Project (U and Understanding and Unite) to RotaKids. U-Project is a school violence prevention program that has the purpose of gaining an understanding, knowledge and organization of many ways to resolve conflicts among people. It provides various programs to educate children on the peaceful resolution of conflicts through discussion and non-violent means.

Children accepted the program very well, and enjoyed it, because the program showed sound methods for children to realize and nurture values and ideals to live peacefully with others. Moreover, Ms. Agocs said that they would develop more activities for children through the program.

Ms. Agocs is preparing the second part of the program for other kids who want to participate, and also for HWPL's Peace Education. She believes being a friend is the key to peace, and that people should all live in harmony. She added that we must impart the right values on children now. Right, we must plant core values of peace in children now - not later.
