The president was moved by Chairman Lee's vision of world peace, which seeks to break down the barriers of border, race and religion to liberate and make humanity one family of peace, and expressed his intention to participate.
Chairman Lee expressed his gratitude, saying, "The president also said that he would work hard for the reunification of the Koreas". In response, President Wolde-Giorgis said, "I actively support Chairman Lee's peace movement and the reunification of the two Koreas."
Chairman Lee's next destination was South Africa. On the 14th, Chairman Lee met with President Jacob Zuma at Libertas, the official residence of the president, in Pretoria, the administrative capital of South Africa.
