[HWPL] HWPL Peace Tours of Man-hee Lee (9): 'The Declaration of World Peace and Restoration of Light' is followed by a 'Vision of Peace’

Chairman Man-hee Lee, who held an Open Bible Seminar on June 14, 2013 in the Philippines, the first stop of the 5th Peace Tour, is delivering the word of truth. About 5,000 people, including local pastors and Protestants, participated in the two-day seminar, which was a great success.

"I realized that (God) wants all people to become one and make peace” - Testimony of a pastor who attended the seminar -

On May 25, 2013, Chairman Man-hee Lee proclaimed the Declaration of World Peace and Restoration of Light at the Peace Plaza in Olympic Park in Seoul in the presence of 30,000 youth from 130 countries. Filipino media showed great interest in the news of the arrival of Chairman Lee, who had launched a world peace movement and was encouraging youth to participate in the work of peace, in the capital Manila.

About 30 major media outlets, including the broadcaster GNN, radio stations, and newspapers, participated in the press conference on the 13th and asked numerous questions as they fiercely competed for coverage. Chairman Lee then appeared live on the state broadcaster PTV News and introduced the significance and activities for world peace and restoration of light in detail. Major media outlets in the Philippines daily reported Chairman Lee's progress toward world peace.

Chairman Lee informed locals that ‘God’s will is peace’ through the words of the Bible. After the two lectures, an additional two lectures, which included an invitational sermon at a Sunday service and a pastoral meeting, were held upon the request of local pastors.

Local pastors responded with surprise, on several occasions, at how passionately and fluently Chairman Lee delivered the flow of the entire Old and New Testaments over two hours without even once looking at the Bible, and the unprecedented teaching on the truth of the New Testament that they had never before heard. The two-day seminar was a great success, with about 5,000 people flocking to it, shattering the expectation that only a dozen or so people would attend. Even pastors who had been ministering for decades in the Philippines could not hide their surprise, saying that it was the first time they had attended a seminar with such a large number of attendees.

About 100 pastors and theologians are listening to Chairman Lee lecture at the Revelation seminar held for pastors in the Philippines on June 17, 2013

Dozens of local pastors voluntarily requested a meeting to listen to the Book of Revelation from Chairman Lee. The day before leaving the Philippines, about 100 pastors gathered at a nearby church and listened to the explanation about the Book of Revelation from Chairman Lee. After the meeting, a Question & Answer Session on the Bible continued until dinner.

One pastor said, "I sincerely thank you for bringing light to the Philippines." Pastors who visited Chairman Lee's accommodation that evening said that they wanted another opportunity to hear the Word and that they would gather many pastors.

On June 17, 2013, local pastors who heard Chairman Lee's lecture at the Revelation seminar gathered again over dinner to listen to the Word from Chairman Lee

During the subsequent trip to Thailand (June 18-20, 2013), Chairman Man-hee Lee met Phallop Thaiarry, Secretary General of the World Fellowship of Buddhists (WFB) for inter-religious exchange and peace. Chairman Lee said that if Buddhist and Christian circles, which are leading billions of believers worldwide, work hand in hand to achieve world peace, peace between religions will be accelerated. He asked for their cooperation.

In addition, Chairman Lee met Rommanee Kananurak, Deputy Director-General of the East Asian Affairs Department, and introduced International Peace Youth Group (IPYG) and the IPYG Peace Walk held on May 25, 2013 at the Peace Plaza in Olympic Park, Seoul.
