On July 7, 2015, Chairman Lee appoints CNN Philippine News Correspondent Brian Poe Llamanzares as HWPL Publicity Ambassador

CNN Philippine news correspondent Brian Poe Llamanzares, who had interviewed Chairman Lee during his 18th peace tour in the Philippines, met him again on July 7, 2015. He said, "I am truly grateful that Chairman Lee visits the Philippines so often and always works for peace. Even in the Philippines, there are people who want to subdue Mindanao in war, but HWPL transcends everything and is solving it with peace."

He added, “HWPL has been working to achieve peace in the Philippines. As a reporter, I will do my utmost to convey to people the best news I can find. And the best news is that of the messenger of peace from the Republic of Korea, who has brought peace to the Philippines.” He was appointed as HWPL publicity ambassador on that same day.

On July 8, Chairman Lee also attended the Peace Seminar for Religious Leaders held at a United Methodist Church. Chairman Lee said, “Shouldn’t all of us who believe in Jesus also do the works of peace that Jesus does?”

Then he said, “It would be good even if you only master the Bible. Let us all become messengers of peace and achieve peace so that God can come and rule. Let us provide peace and grace to many. I pray that we can truly become believers recognized by Heaven, and that when the Lord comes again, we will meet him and live together with him forever.”

On July 9, Chairman Lee took part in a special interview with state-broadcaster PTV at the VIP lounge of NAIA Terminal 1 in Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Reporter Elizabeth Kachin, an HWPL publicity ambassador, has been publicizing Chairman Lee's peace movement throughout the Philippines for years. She said, “I was happy to hear that everything promised at the WARP Summit is now being accomplished,” and “I heard that many people are working hard to realize the goal of the draft international peace law being passed and enacted by the United Nations.” 

She added, “My role as an HWPL ambassador is really important because I have to report on all the steps made by HWPL for the realization of world peace.”
